Carol Kruse, global interactive chief at Coca-Cola Co.Coca-Cola Co.'s new chief marketing officer, Joe Tripodi, will have a new global interactive chief to turn to when he starts. While her title is new, Carol Kruse knows her way around the beverage giant, having managed Coke's online advertising, customer-relationship marketing, and online and gaming marketing over the past six years. Ms. Kruse talked to Ad Age about the mission of global interactive marketing at Coke.

Arsenal.com: high-earning fansArsenal FC and Liverpool FC have been ranked the sports brands with the greatest concentration of online traffic from high-earning fans. The survey, which was conducted by Nielsen//NetRatings, ranked brands that received the highest amount of home and work-based online visits from users with an income in excess of £50,000 a year, with the financial sector featuring heavily in the top 10, according to a study. LG continues to grow internationally.LG Electronic Worldwide is on the hunt for an ad agency to handle its global corporate brand campaign. Among those invited to participate are the North American incumbent, WPP Group's Y&R, Publicis Groupe's Publicis and sibling shop Saatchi & Saatchi, according to knowledgeable executives. At present, it appears that much of the global branding work for LG is done in-house by LG Ad. Other roster shops include Y&R's Brand Buzz.

Guys, I've got some goods news and bad news. The good news is, you don't need a trophy wife anymore! The bad news is, you do need a trophy husband. Not that you have to look great in a bikini (that would be weird). All you have to do is carpool, stir fry and read all seven volumes of "Harry Potter" out loud with different funny voices. Is that so much to ask?
