Fat Elvis might have put deep-fried peanut-butter and banana-sandwiches on the map, but Skinny Elvis is getting the spotlight as Hershey Co. turns to the King to shake up Reese's sales. Coinciding with the 30th Anniversary of Elvis's death next summer, Hershey will shimmy onto the shelf a limited-edition peanut-butter-and-banana-creme variety inspired by the rock 'n' roll legend. And the roll out will be accompanied by a significant promotional outlay.

initiative has been rolled out for Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR),
targeting frequent travellers. The online and on-air push was launched by MEC in mid-November, and
will be extended through a partnership with the Time Warner Group. A microsite featuring puzzle games and prizes is supported by a
30-second TVC and 15-second TV vignettes airing on CNN International.

Procter
& Gamble, Microsoft Corp. and other major marketers have
set aside a piece of their ad budgets -- albeit a small piece -- for
mobile marketing, representing a "significant shift" for the emerging
medium. Any money put toward mobile ad platforms last year came from
marketers'
discretionary funds, but now mobile marketing is a dedicated line item
in their budgets, Jay Emmit, president of the Americas, mBlox, a global
mobile transaction firm, told some 400 attendees
