Pixel Media has announced revenue increased of 50% to US$4.9 million (HK$38.2 million) in the first half of 2007, with profits up 32% in the same period, demonstrating Asian marketers are directing more advertising spent to the online sector. "As Europe and the USA have experienced, Asia is witnessing the continuing migration of advertising spend from traditional mediums to online, which we are well placed to capture," Kevin Huang, CEO for Pixel, said.

Aston Martin has emerged top of the 2007 Cool Brands list, holding off competition from iPod, YouTube and Google in a top 20 dominated by digital technology and online media. The resurgence of the James Bond franchise with 'Casino Royale' has helped Aston Martin beat Apple's iPod into second place in the list of the top 500 Cool Brands, with YouTube ranking third in the list compiled by a 2,000-member strong YouGov and CoolBrands Council panel
