 Ogilvy & Mather Singapore finished AdFest 2007 as the most awarded agency with 13 awards following Saturday’s round up of the Film Lotus, Film Craft Lotus, Radio Lotus, Cyber Lotus and 360 & Contagious Lotus for Innovation categories. Hong Kong agencies only managed to grab a handful of bronze awards at AdFest 2007, led by Grey Worldwide HK who received two bronze recognitions in the Print Lotus category. each achieved a bronze award
The news follows Japan agencies, Hakuhodo Tokyo, ADK Tokyo and GT Tokyo scooping Best of Show wins for Film, Radio, and Cyber Lotus respectively – no Best of Show was given in the 360 Lotus award but Dentsu Tokyo managed to achieve the gold award while Hakuhodo Tokyo was also honoured with a Best of Show in the Contagious Lotus category. Another accolade came Japan’s way with Team Tokyo winning the Young Lotus award which was moderated by BBDO Asia Pacific. The winning entry managed to show “an astonishing level of craft and a clear single-minded idea with a surprising twist in the end” according to Suthisak Sucharittanonta, chairman and CCO for BBDO Bangkok.
